With the Tormek T-4, you get a quality machine for DIY enthusiasts and hobbyists. You have access to the extensive Tormek jig system and can sharpen virtually all common cutting tools.

The Tormek T-4 is a further development of the T-3 and takes precision and stability to a new level. Key functions such as the motor and main shaft are mounted in the cast zinc upper section, which also incorporates the sleeves for the universal support. This improved design guarantees unbeatable precision for the universal support, which controls all grinding attachments and accessories.

Like the larger Tormek models, the T-4 is equipped with the original Tormek whetstone. It offers the perfect combination of efficient steel removal, smooth surface finishing, and long-lasting durability. The included stone preparer allows you to change the stone surface from 220 grit to approximately 1000 grit, allowing you to create two grinds with the same stone.

The T-4 is ideal for sharpening chisels, knives, and smaller tools, such as carving tools. It can also be used for woodturning tools and drill bits, but for planer knives and molding knives, we recommend one of the larger Tormek machine models. Please note that due to the compact size of the Tormek T-4, some woodturning tool shapes cannot be honed with the SVD-186 on the leather honing wheel. These tools can be honed freehand.

The motor is designed for 30 minutes of continuous operation at a time. This is usually more than sufficient for home use, but if your sharpening needs are higher, you may want to consider purchasing one of the larger Tormek models, as these are designed for continuous operation.

Cutting tools, wearing parts and operating materials are excluded from the warranty, as their service life depends on the respective use, storage and/or intensity of use.
