The responsible use of resources is important to us. Therefore, we provide you with information about the legally required disposal of batteries, accumulators, and old electrical devices in accordance with the Austrian Ordinance on Old Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EAG-VO) and the Austrian Battery Ordinance.
Battery disposal
Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste . Consumers are legally obliged to dispose of used batteries at appropriate collection points.
You can dispose of used batteries at municipal collection points or in stores. We also accept used batteries – please send them with sufficient postage to:

Batteries do not belong in household waste .
In addition, chemical abbreviations can indicate certain pollutants:
- Pb = contains lead
- Cd = contains cadmium
- Hg = contains mercury
Waste electrical equipment disposal
Electrical and electronic devices must also not be disposed of with household waste . Please dispose of old devices at an official collection point or use appropriate return systems.

Before disposal, you are obliged to remove personal data from the device (e.g. in the case of measuring devices with a memory function).
Please do not forcefully remove batteries from devices – this can be dangerous. Dispose of the entire old device at a collection point.
