If your whetstone has become uneven, you can easily fix it with the Tormek TT-50 Turning and Dressing Tool. It will make your stone perfectly round and flat again!
Easy to move across the stone
You can comfortably guide the diamond blade over the stone without having to apply pressure with your thumbs. You can achieve even feed by alternately turning the two knobs with both hands. The operation can be performed in either direction. Thanks to the controlled feed, the stone surface is smooth and free of rough grooves.
Controlled cutting depth
The cutting depth is precisely adjusted using the fine adjustment on the universal support. The scale is divided into 0.25 mm increments. The video shows you how it works.
Create a coarse or fine surface
At a higher feed rate across the stone (approximately 30 seconds instead of 90 seconds), the surface has distinct grooves, allowing the stone to grind faster. This is beneficial when grinding or shaping high-carbon steel tools with large bevel surfaces, such as woodturning chisels and power jointer/planer knives.
The slower the feed rate, the finer the surface you'll achieve. A 90-second pass over the stone produces a good finish with almost no visible grooves.

Cutting tools, wearing parts and operating materials are excluded from the warranty, as their service life depends on the respective use, storage and/or intensity of use.
Warranty claims can only be asserted in the case of production errors or verifiable defects.
