Tormek's DE-200 Diamond Wheel Extra Fine is a diamond wheel that provides an extra-fine finish and is especially suitable for carving tools and knives where minimal material removal is required. The grit size is 1200.

One grinding wheel for all materials

This diamond wheel can be used to grind most materials, including steel, ceramic, and carbide. The DC-200 Diamond Wheel Coarse is suitable for Tormek T-4 Original , Tormek T-4 Bushcraft , Tormek T-3, and older models with a 200 mm diameter grinding wheel.

Simplifies repeated grinding

All Tormek diamond grinding wheels offer exceptional durability and consistent grinding performance, meaning they always remain round and smooth, maintaining their full diameter. This is beneficial for users who frequently grind the same tools, as it simplifies adjustment and grinding.

Obtaining a completely flat grinding bevel

Thanks to the consistent shape, it's possible to grind either on the side of the wheel or on its top surface. Side grinding is perfect for smaller tools like knives, chisels, sculptor's gouges, and goat's feet. The result is a cutting edge with a completely flat bevel instead of a slightly concave shape.

For grinding on the side of diamond wheels, we recommend using the MB-100 Multi-Holder along with the fixture designed for your specific tool. Both the holder and the fixtures provide support and control throughout the grinding process.

Corrosion protection for longer service life

All diamond blades come with 150 ml of ACC-150 rust protection concentrate . Always use the concentrate in water when wet grinding to prevent rust on the grinding wheel. Use 10 ml of concentrate to 250 ml of water (approximately 4%). We recommend always using water when grinding with a diamond blade, as this extends the life of the blade and ensures a slightly finer grinding surface. Grinding can also be performed without water.
