The Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Wood Protector is a genuine “monocoat” that colors and protects almost any wood in outdoor areas with just a single application . With the oil you can, for example, paint exterior facades, terraces, shutters, gates or garden furniture made of protect almost all types of wood against discoloration and weathering. easy application and uncomplicated care make this wood oil special user-friendly . The unique molecular bond of the oil with the wood fibers prevents visible overlaps or seams .
Likewise, Rubio Monocoat lives up to its name as the “King of Colors” with this product. The high-quality wood oil is 20 colors available . Choose from 12 traditional colors and 8 modern, trendy colors. Enough choice to customize your facade, patio, or table to your liking!
The Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Wood Protector is also a very environmentally friendly wood protection product . The ecological oil based on linseed is economical in use , minimizing the environmental impact of packaging and transport. It also contains 0% volatile organic compounds . These so-called VOCs are harmful substances released during the application of some products, which increase the greenhouse effect. Many traditional wood protection products still contain VOCs. In contrast, Rubio Monocoat's revolutionary products avoid VOCs as much as possible. The Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Wood Protector is even completely VOC-free. The product has therefore also received the "Children's Toy Safety" certificate and meets the requirements of the EN 71-3 standard, which certifies that a product safe for children is.

CHARACTERISTICS

- STEP 1. Remove all residues from previous treatments. Clean the surface with Rubio Monocoat Exterior Wood Cleaner.
- STEP 2. Stir the oil well before use.
- STEP 3. When the cleaned surface is dry, use a flat Application brush or with the Rubio Monocoat Apply a layer of Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Wood Protector to the surface using the Standard 220 application brush.
- STEP 4. Leave on for 10 minutes. Brush over the surface again with the same brush (without adding more product) to achieve an even finish.
- STEP 5. After 5 minutes, wipe the surface with a cloth to remove any oil residue. Then immerse all used cloths completely in water.
- STEP 6. Allow to dry for 24 hours. The surface will be fully cured after 7 days.
- If Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Wood Protector is used on decking or other surfaces that need to dry quickly, we recommend adding 10% Rubio Monocoat Accelerator to the oil.
- When preparing the wood surface, Rubio Monocoat products should always be used.
- The product must not be diluted under any circumstances!
- Stir the product thoroughly before application. If using multiple packages on a construction site, we recommend mixing them to achieve a consistent result.
- Never use in direct sunlight or at temperatures below 10°C. Work only in dry weather.
- Do not cover the surface or place heavy objects on it until it is completely dry.
- If horizontal surfaces are exposed to rain for 24–36 hours after oiling, they must be wiped dry afterwards.
- Coverage on wood outdoors: approx. 1 L = 30 m²
- These consumption figures are not binding. Actual results depend on the wood species and preparation. A test application is recommended to determine the exact consumption.
- Linseed oil is a natural product that is not self-igniting. However, oil-soaked cloths or other tools pose a fire hazard. Oxidation of the oil generates heat, which can cause the materials to spontaneously ignite. Therefore, Cloths and other tools should be soaked in water before disposal.
- When stored in a dry place and in the original packaging, the product has a shelf life of up to 36 months.
- Store in a frost-protected place.
- The color pigments in the various Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Wood Protector colors enhance the wood's protection against graying. NOTE: The PURE color is unpigmented, so the wood's natural graying will take hold more quickly.
- We recommend not using light colors (white, natural, etc.) on horizontal surfaces
