With its revolutionary all-cast housing, the Tormek T-8 sharpening machine optimizes precision. This new design, combined with a number of sophisticated details, offers you optimal conditions for successful sharpening with top results.

The improved design guarantees unbeatable precision for the universal support. This forms the foundation of the Tormek sharpening system, as it controls all grinding jigs and accessories. The previously mounted sleeves for the universal support are now integrated into the solid cast housing of this model. This innovation further increases the precision of your grinding work.

The signature Tormek drive system has also been implemented in this new model. This efficient system maintains a constant speed even at full load—a unique feature of Tormek sharpeners. The Tormek Original SG-250 Whetstone sharpens all types of steel, even HSS. The powerful AC motor is designed to drive the whetstone continuously.

The water reservoir has been further improved with a spindle for easier installation. It also features a dual-function magnetic scraper; during the grinding process, the magnet collects steel particles, and after grinding, the water reservoir can be easily cleaned with the scraper. For long tools where water can drip outside the reservoir area (e.g., chef's knives and planing knives), the included water channel can simply be attached to the edge of the water reservoir.

Another well-thought-out detail is the stainless steel main shaft with Tormek's unique EzyLock nut. This automatically sets the stone to the correct torque without the need for tools. Thanks to EzyLock, the stone can also be easily replaced when using Tormek's special SB-250 or SJ-250 stones.

Cutting tools, wearing parts and operating materials are excluded from the warranty, as their service life depends on the respective use, storage and/or intensity of use.
