Description

The honing paste is used in conjunction with Tormek leather honing wheels. Thanks to the unique properties of the leather combined with the honing paste, the burr is effectively removed without damaging the edge. At the same time, the bevel is finely polished.

The stripping paste contains a combination of micro abrasives and polishing components (average grain size 3 µ).

One application is sufficient for approximately 5–10 tools. Work the strop into the leather. The leather strop will become saturated and more effective the more often you use the paste.

First, impregnate new honing wheels with light machine oil to ensure they have the correct texture and can absorb the honing paste.

In dry climates, the honing wheel may need to be re-impregnated with a few drops of oil after a while before applying fresh honing paste. Do not allow the paste to dry; apply more oil if necessary.
