The Rubio Monocoat Cleaner is used for thorough cleaning of the surface after sanding and vacuuming and before applying Rubio Monocoat oil. This product removes even the smallest dust particles . You can also use the Rubio Monocoat Cleaner to clean the tools used for oiling (e.g., brushes, spatulas, etc.) .

Step 1 - Sand the surface and vacuum up any sanding dust thoroughly.
Step 2 - Clean the surface with a cloth moistened with Rubio Monocoat Cleaner.
Step 3 - Allow to dry until the surface returns to its original appearance. Drying time: 15 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the surface's moisture content.
- Use the product sparingly. The revolutionary technology of Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus uses a molecular reaction to ensure that the oil bonds with the wood fibers within 15 seconds. However, if there is still dust on the surface, the oil will bond with this dust. When spread with the white pad, a microscopically thin paste forms on the surface. The oil is then bound to the dust and does not bond with the wood fibers.
- The cloth only needs to be slightly moistened. The small amount of Rubio Monocoat Cleaner attracts the dust electrostatically.
- You can also wrap a dry cloth around the damp cloth while cleaning to reduce consumption. This also helps avoid using too much cleaner.
- 1 liter = approx. 75-100 m²
- These consumption figures are not binding. Actual results depend on the wood species and preparation. A test application is recommended to determine the exact consumption.
