Rubio Monocoat Deep Cleaner is an intensive cleaner for all types of wood surfaces treated with Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C . The deep cleaner can be used to remove dirt or greasy soap residue, as well as as a preparatory cleaner before re-oiling .
The Deep Cleaner opens the wood pores and removes dirt that has become embedded in the grooves of the wood grain. The product also makes yellowed floors appear whiter and more radiant (Note: Color changes caused by UV radiation are not reversed by the use of the Rubio Monocoat Deep Cleaner ). Do you use the Deep Cleaner before re-oiling your wood surfaces? The product will improve the quality of the new oil application .
Caution : Rubio Monocoat Deep Cleaner is a concentrate and must be diluted with water before use. The ratio should not exceed 5% Rubio Monocoat Deep Cleaner to 95% water .
> Manual application on floors
STEP 1. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth (water only).
STEP 2. Spread the diluted Rubio Monocoat Deep Cleaner (max. 5% Rubio Monocoat Deep Cleaner to 95% water) evenly over the surface using a wiper.
STEP 3. Clean the treated surface with the Rubio Monocoat Microfiber Pad or a nylon scrubber, following the grain. The product will foam up. For stubborn stains, repeat the treatment.
STEP 4. Remove the loosened dirt from the surface with a mop and clean water until it is clean.
STEP 5. Allow the surface to dry thoroughly (approx. 30 minutes at a temperature of 20 °C and with good ventilation).
STEP 6. If the surface needs to be re-oiled (e.g. if it is open-pored or the color has faded), use Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C in the original color to re-oil.

STEP 1. Clean the surface with a damp sponge (water only).
STEP 2. Spread the diluted Rubio Monocoat Deep Cleaner (max. 5% Rubio Monocoat Deep Cleaner to 95% water) evenly over the surface using a sponge.
STEP 3. Clean the treated surface with the Rubio Monocoat Microfiber Pad or a nylon scrubber, following the grain. The product will foam up. For stubborn stains, repeat the treatment.
STEP 4. Remove the loosened dirt with a damp cloth.
STEP 5. Allow the surface to dry thoroughly (approx. 30 minutes at a temperature of 20 °C and with good ventilation).
STEP 6. If the surface needs to be re-oiled (e.g. if it is open-pored or the color has faded), use Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C in the original color to re-oil.
- Instead of a scrubber, you can also use a scrubber with a beige pad or, preferably, a scrubbing brush, as this penetrates deeper into the wood pores. This method is suitable for surfaces that are to be re-oiled. If re-oiling is not planned, we advise against this method.

- When using Rubio Monocoat Deep Cleaner, make sure that it does not come into contact with adjacent floors or other materials

These consumption figures are not binding. Results depend on the wood species and preparation. A test application is recommended to determine the exact consumption.
No re-oiling
- Removes film-forming substances caused by excessive use of soap.
- Opens the wood pores and removes dirt that has accumulated in the pores of the wood.
- White floors appear brighter and less yellowed (color changes caused by UV radiation are not changed by the use of Rubio Monocoat Deep Cleaner).
