INNOTEC zinc and welding spray "Zinc Coat"

Zinc Coat is a particularly excellent zinc-based rust protection coating that can be applied both before and after welding. Zinc Coat forms a protective layer that is ideal for carbon dioxide (CO²) and spot welding.

APPLICATIONS

• For body shops before and after welding on sheet metal repairs, muffler systems, bodywork and floor pans
• Ideal as transport protection for body parts to prevent rust formation
• For ventilation and construction plumbers for the subsequent protection of soldering, welding and riveting joints, etc.
• For metal construction before and after welding, drilling or cutting in structural engineering
• For painting and varnishing companies as a rust protection primer on bare metal parts
• As a primer for various surfaces such as old paint layers, non-ferrous metals, aluminum, etc.
• Ideal for treating bare sheet metal or polished areas as soon as possible with a zinc coat layer (provides reliable rust protection), as corrosion occurs immediately in combination with humidity
• For welded sheet metal – welding really gets the corrosion process going. After welding, Zinc Coat tightly surrounds the weld point or weld seam with optimal rust protection.
• For rusted sheet metal where it is not always possible to completely remove rust - the rust converter additives contained in Zinc Coat neutralize the remaining rust

PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS

• Ensure a clean, dry, dust- and grease-free surface
• Sand the surface (depending on the condition)
• Clean surfaces with Innotec Multisol
• Shake the spray can well for at least 2 minutes before use
• Apply in 2 cross coats (spraying distance 20 to 25 cm), allow to dry for 10 minutes in between
• After full curing (30 hours), it is weldable (dry and wet), sandable, and paintable (with almost all modern paint systems). Given the wide variety of paints and varnishes available, it is recommended to test the respective paint or varnish first.
• Turn the can upside down after use and spray the valve empty
