Description
Repaplast Fix is a 2-component PU adhesive that, due to its unique composition, is exempt from the H351 hazard warning and is perfectly designed for quickly bonding brackets, parking sensors, clamps, etc. Repaplast Fix achieves outstanding adhesion to various substrates, such as plastic, metal, wood, etc. It is ideal for repairing damaged internal threads or stripped screws.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Freed from H351 thanks to MicroEmission
- Touch dry after only 35 seconds - fully cured after 1 hour.
- Excess material can be easily cut away (saves the need for further sanding)
- Very high adhesion to numerous different materials
- Only cleaning and priming (no sanding required)
- High temperature resistance (-40 °C to +90 °C)
- Excellent water and solvent resistance
- NSF certified in category P1
APPLICATION
APPLICATIONS AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY
- For quickly bonding broken plastic and metal brackets on bumpers, headlights, grilles, radiators, housings, panels, etc.
- Mounting parking sensors, trim strips, emblems, side window brackets, extensions, cable holders, etc.
- For repairing stripped threads in plastic, metal or aluminum parts
APPLICATIONS INDUSTRY
- For joining or gluing broken brackets on hand tools, handles, knobs, metal parts, cable holders, angles, brackets, trim strips, emblems, letters, torn-out dowels, paneling, etc.
- Ideal for quickly repairing a torn-out thread or for repairing a damaged/broken hole in various screws, compartment supports, drawer guides, etc.
PROCESSING
NOTES
- Make sure that all work equipment is ready
- Ensure a clean, dry and grease-free surface
- Clean the surface with Innotec Repaplast Cleaner Antistatic (Art. No. 1565) and Multi Wipes (Art. No. 1092-90)
- In the case of (recycled) plastic or delicate substrates such as stainless steel, etc., pre-treatment with Innotec Repaplast Primer (Art. No. 1595) is recommended.
- To apply Repaplast Fix always use the Duo Component Applicator with the special mixing nozzles
- Check that both components can flow freely through the openings - then attach the mixing nozzle
- Spread Repaplast Fix on the surface using the mixing nozzle and join the parts to be bonded together as quickly as possible (within 10 seconds at the latest)
- Fix the repair area for a short time until Repaplast Fix has developed sufficient strength
- Excess material can be easily cut away after just 1 minute (no need to sand)
- After about 10 minutes, Repaplast Fix can be processed, e.g. by milling, drilling, thread cutting, etc.
- Always leave the mixing nozzle on the double cartridge to prevent hardening

Cutting tools, wearing parts and operating materials are excluded from the warranty, as their service life depends on the respective use, storage and/or intensity of use.
Warranty claims can only be asserted in the case of production errors or verifiable defects.
