Specially forged fixed bracket for 12 x 8 mm grooves. For secure attachment of Festool, Protool, Metabo, Makita, Hitachi, etc. guide rails for clamping in profiles and on workbenches.
The IGM quick-release lever clamp is ideal for clamping aluminum guide rails and for clamping material on a grid workbench. It's the ideal tool for clamping guide rails from Festool, Makita, and others. The dimensions of the clamp, which slides onto the guide rail, are 12 mm x 7.4 mm x 60 mm. The ratchet handle offers excellent clamping efficiency and extremely fast clamping. The handle holds firmly when fastened: no loosening or loss of clamping force due to vibrations or the power tool. A plastic protective jaw is included.
- All-metal construction
- Designed for 12 mm grooves
- For guide rails of plunge saws
- Quick-release ratchet system
- Firm and stable attachment
The quick-release clamp is a must-have for every hobby and professional workshop thanks to its versatility. It can be clamped into a T-slot rail and used separately to secure the workpiece to the workbench during routing or gluing. It is small, lightweight, and allows for secure, strong clamping and one-handed operation. This lever clamp features a specially forged fixed bracket for securely fastening aluminum guide rails from Festool, Protool, Metabo, Makita, and Hitachi. It is designed for clamping in profiles, on Festool MFT workbenches, or for guide rails for plunge-cut saws. The clamping bracket, which slides onto the rail, has a cross-section of 12 mm x 7.4 mm and is suitable for T-slots measuring 12.7 x 8 mm. The ratchet handle offers excellent clamping efficiency and extremely fast clamping. Once attached, the handle is firm and stable; it will not loosen due to vibrations from the power tool. Thanks to its all-metal construction, the lever clamp is also highly wear-resistant and has an extremely long service life. Its low weight of 555 g ensures easy handling, allowing the user to quickly clamp the workpiece with one hand and without mechanical assistance. Thanks to the simple release mechanism, the clamp can be quickly clamped and released without tools and without damaging the clamped object. Due to their dimensions, these clamps are ideal for attaching IGM templates to the material being machined. They are suitable for use with the FK650 template for joining worktops. Thanks to their narrow arm, they take up less space than conventional clamps with large jaws and do not interfere with the router when routing the joint. It is also ideal for drilling shelf supports or dowelling with the FKP900 template, as the quick-release lever clamp does not interfere with the drill or drill spindle. The lower clamping jaw is equipped with a replaceable plastic cover that ensures a firm hold without damaging the workpiece.
The quick-release clamp is a versatile tool in the workshop. For example, it can be used as a stop on a saw if your saw isn't equipped with one. Simply attach it to the profile of the miter saw, and you can easily cut a large number of pieces of equal length. Attached to a parallel stop, it can be used as a depth stop, which is useful, for example, when making bolts.
