Handle strips are used wherever a puristic, modern furniture design is required – whether in kitchens, bathrooms, living room walls, or high-quality built-in cabinets. Instead of surface-mounted handles, elegant recessed handles are milled directly into the front or edge of the workpiece – for clean lines and a minimalist look.

The handle strip router is the ideal tool for this: With its specially shaped carbide cutting edge, it creates precise, uniform handle profiles in a single operation – both in solid wood and wood-based materials such as MDF or laminated panels. The routing is typically performed on the top edge or back of the furniture front, depending on the desired appearance and operating direction.

After setting up the cutter in the router or CNC unit, the handle recess is milled along a guided line. Thanks to the high cutting quality and optimized chip removal, a clean milling pattern is created with minimal post-processing effort – ideal for one-off pieces or series production.
