Trace provides an easy way to convert hand-drawn sketches into vector graphics compatible with digital manufacturing tools like laser cutters, plotters, and CNC machines like Shaper Origin. Place the Trace frame over your sketch and convert it into a scalable vector graphic (SVG) that you can use with your tool of choice.

From sketch to vector graphics in seconds

With the Trace Frame you have access to the Trace WebApp - No subscription required . Unlike traditional scanners, Trace uses your smartphone's camera to capture the drawing. It detects the drawing at any angle, so you don't have to hold your phone perfectly vertically. Trace automatically flattens the image, removing perspective distortion and distortion caused by the phone's camera lens.
