What do these drilling jigs do?
The Kreg® 300 Series Pocket Hole Jigs make creating pocket-hole wood projects quick and easy. The Kreg Pocket Hole Jig lets you drill the pocket hole in softwood, hardwood, and other composite materials in the correct position and at the correct angle using a standard cordless screwdriver. You can then secure the workpieces together with a Kreg Pocket Hole Screw. The Kreg® 300 Series Pocket Hole Jigs are also ideal for repairs to almost any wood structure.
How do these drilling jigs work?
The Kreg® Pocket Hole Jig 310 and Kreg® Pocket Hole Jig 320 allow you to complete wood projects by connecting workpieces with a strong, simple pocket hole screw connection. The jig positions and supports a step drill bit, which drills a pocket hole using a standard cordless screwdriver. Simply adjust the jig and drill bit to match the thickness of your material (13 mm, 19 mm, 38 mm), clamp the pocket hole jig along the edge or end of the desired workpiece, and drill the hole. Secure the two workpieces by inserting a Kreg Pocket Hole Screw into the pocket hole and screwing it into the adjacent piece to quickly and easily create an incredibly strong wood joint.
Who should buy these drill guides?
The Kreg 300 series is ideal for all DIY enthusiasts and craftsmen who frequently work with the common sizes 13mm, 19mm, and 38mm and require fast yet strong wood joints. It can also be used for repair work on chairs, cabinets, tables, etc.
Mike says: "More and more carpenters are learning to appreciate this system. Especially in kitchen assembly and exhibition stand construction, you can create quick, easy, and stable connections that can be disassembled again if necessary."
