The new Accessibility Act (BaFG) will come into force in Austria on June 28, 2025. This law requires online retailers to make their webshops accessible to ensure equal access for all people, regardless of physical or sensory limitations.
We would like to inform you that our current online shop at www.mikestoolshop.at As of the specified date, the full requirements of the Federal Act on the Promotion of Children and Young Persons (BaFG) were not yet met. Therefore, some functions or content are unfortunately not yet fully accessible.
Good news:
We're working hard on our new online shop, which meets the latest technical standards and is designed to be barrier-free from the ground up. We'll be launching our new shop by the end of next week, providing all our customers with an even better, barrier-free shopping experience.
