The new water reservoir features an extended lip to keep your workbench free of wastewater. It also includes a built-in magnet for collecting steel particles and a removable water trough for long tools.
A magnet cleans the stone
The water reservoir also has a built-in magnet that effectively attracts steel particles during grinding. This results in a cleaner and more powerful whetstone.
These particles could otherwise penetrate the surface of the stone and impair its grinding properties. When you empty the water container, you'll see that the steel particles have accumulated on the magnet. You can easily wipe them off with a paper towel.
Drip protection for long tools
For very long tools that extend beyond the edge of the water tank (e.g. long knives and planer blades), there is now an extra drip guard that can be easily attached to the edge of the tank and directs the waste water back into the water tank.
Inclination feet determine the direction of the wastewater
The water tank packaging also includes two "tilt feet." These, when placed under the machine, create a slight incline, which directs wastewater back into the water tank.
The "tilt feet" are particularly useful for sharpening long tools such as chef's knives and planer blades. When not in use, the "tilt feet" can be easily attached next to the regular machine feet using the integrated magnet.
Fits the Tormek T-7, the Tormek 2000 and older models with 250 mm stone diameter.

Cutting tools, wearing parts and operating materials are excluded from the warranty, as their service life depends on the respective use, storage and/or intensity of use.
Warranty claims can only be asserted in the case of production errors or verifiable defects.
