Tormek spare part main shaft, EzyLock, disc in stainless steel, bearing No: MSK-250

The shaft, disc, and EzyLock nut are made entirely of stainless steel. EzyLock ensures that the whetstone is held securely and cannot come loose. Thanks to its unique design, no tools are required to install or remove the whetstone.

With the Tormek EzyLock (a nut and washer in one), you don't need any tools to install and remove the stone. Thanks to the special angle on the left-hand thread, turning the wheel tightens the nut with the correct torque.

When installing the whetstone, turn the Ezylock nut counterclockwise. It will automatically tighten to the correct torque during the first sharpening cycle.

When changing the stone, turn the stone clockwise while holding the leather honing wheel with your other hand; the EzyLock will simply release.

This design allows you to work with different whetstones, e.g. switching from the original Tormek whetstone to special stones such as the Blackstone Silicone for HSS or the 4000 Grit Japanese Waterstone.

Fits Tormek T-8, Tormek T-7, Tormek 2000 and earlier models with 250 mm stone diameter.
