Microfibers are thin fibers with a diameter of less than 1.0 dtex (1 g per 10,000 meters). In comparison, cotton fibers are three to four times stronger, and human hair is a hundred times stronger. In a special process known as "finishing," multifilament fibers are split into microfibers. This process creates a large thread surface and simultaneously creates cavities in which water is stored. A modern microfiber therefore has many times the storage capacity of a cotton product or other fibers.

Crucially, the fine fibers have a significantly higher dirt absorption capacity , lifting dirt even from the smallest recesses, thus achieving a significantly better cleaning effect . The dual-component fiber (polyester/polyamide) removes both water-based and greasy or oily dirt in a single step .

• Microfiber products are easy to clean and have short drying times. Generally, microfiber products should be washed at temperatures between 40 and 60 degrees Celsius. You can also wash microfiber products at temperatures up to 95 degrees Celsius, but this will significantly shorten their lifespan and cleaning performance.
• Microfiber cloths and microfiber mops should generally be washed separately and not with cotton products (or you can use a laundry net).
• Important: When washing for the first time, only wash items of similar colors – keyword: "bleeding." It's best to use pH-neutral detergents. Fabric softeners are not permitted. Tumble dryers are generally not recommended, and if used, only at a maximum temperature of 80 degrees Celsius.
