PRACTICAL MILLING TEMPLATE

DOMINO DOWEL IN CARCASE CONSTRUCTION

With this simple but very practical routing template you can mill the Domino dowels using a standard router.
This template is suitable for normal 90° corner joints in carcass construction.

Since you fix the template to the material with 2-3 wood screws (don't worry, the screw holes will then be covered by the fixed part), you don't need any screw clamps or other clamps.
You simply have to place the milling template on the material, fix it in place and you can then make your connections.

With this milling template for dominoes, dowel sizes of 4x20 / 5x30 / 6x50 / 8x40 / 8x50 and 10x50mm can be processed.
Since the lateral milling movement is always the same, you only need to change the grooving cutter in the machine.

• Handheld router with plunge function with 17mm copy ring
• Suitable milling cutter (milling cutter length = milling depth + 15mm + clamping range of the collet)
• 2-3 short wood screws
