THROWING AXE
HULTAFORS
This type of double-bit axe was originally used by lumberjacks who benefited from having a sharp axe handy at all times. One side was used for rough work and the other for finer work. Today, the axe is primarily used as a throwing axe in competitions among enthusiasts. It was named after the blacksmith Wetterhall, who worked at Hults Bruk longer than anyone else. Like all Hultafors axes, the Wetterhall throwing axe is hand-forged and made from high-quality Swedish steel.
