The first mobile thickness planer with a spiral cutter head equipped with replaceable carbide knives is now available on the European market. The precision-engineered spiral cutter head features 36 carbide knives arranged in four spirals to ensure maximum cleanliness and processing efficiency. This spiral head allows even very hard and exotic woods to be planed effortlessly and extremely cleanly without splitting the wood crosswise. The result is a much smoother surface than after processing with conventional knives.

The carbide blades are many times more durable than traditional HSS planer blades and can be rotated up to four times without the need for replacement or lengthy drum sharpening. Additionally, the machine features an integrated fan and dust bag to efficiently remove sawdust from the cylinder. Of course, the machine can also be connected to an industrial vacuum cleaner or extraction system.

To ensure maximum precision, the set height is lockable. For maximum work safety, the machine is equipped with rubberized feed rollers that securely hold and move the workpiece, while steel hooks in front of the roller prevent kickback. The powerful motor is also equipped with overload protection and restart protection in the event of a power failure.

The side depth stop allows easy setup of a larger series at the same height, the depth stop is adjustable in 7 positions from 3.2 mm to 38 mm.
