The METEC digital tape measure with laser distance meter from SOLA combines two measuring methods in a single, compact device. Whether on construction sites, in interior finishing, or for professional measuring tasks in the trades – the METEC delivers precise results, saves time, and increases efficiency. This robust measuring tool combines a 5-meter (16 ft) digital tape measure with an integrated laser distance meter with a range of up to 20 meters (65 ft). This makes it ideal for both short and long distances where flexibility and accuracy are essential.

FOR SHORT DISTANCES: DIGITAL ROLLER TAPE MEASURING
Ideal for shorter distances, for example in interior finishing or furniture making: The 5 m long digital tape measure displays the measurement in real time directly on a backlit LCD screen – quickly, clearly, and accurately (±1.5 mm). Whether for simple length measurements or area and volume calculations: The METEC delivers reliable results at the touch of a button. The permanent tape brake ensures full control during measurement, and the measuring reference point can be flexibly selected at the front or rear of the device.
FOR GREATER DISTANCES: LASER DISTANCE MEASURING
The integrated laser distance meter excels at longer distances, such as in large rooms, along high walls, or at hard-to-reach points. With a range of up to 20 meters and an accuracy of ±2 mm, even complex measurements like indirect distances using the Pythagorean theorem can be performed quickly and reliably. The units of measurement can be conveniently switched on the device – metric or imperial, as needed. The reference point can also be set to either the front or back, depending on the requirements.
MEASURING WITH THE SOLA MEASURES APP
The integrated Bluetooth interface enables fast and error-free transfer of measurements from the CITO to a smartphone. Using the compatible SOLA Measures app, photos or blueprints can be dimensioned directly, and measurement results can be saved, managed, and shared with the team. This saves time and money.

TWO MEASURING REFERENCE POINTS
To meet diverse measurement requirements, the CITO features two easily adjustable reference points: Measurements can be taken from either the front or rear edge of the device. For measurements from the front edge, the CITO also includes a practical reading aid that doubles as a stop. This allows for precise length determination.
ROBUST HOUSING, DURABLE STRAP
The tape's special nylon coating ensures maximum durability and is extremely resistant to scratches, water, and chemicals. With an IP54 rating, the CITO is protected against dust and splashing water and can be used both indoors and outdoors.
