For producing grooves with a straight bottom and clean cuts with virtually no burrs, suitable for solid wood, laminate, MDF and veneer.
• The top layer Orange Shield Coating provides excellent heat dissipation, prevents material from sticking and protects the pane against corrosion.
• The set includes spacer rings (made of plastic and magnetic) and a set of washers with closures and adjustable width after 1 mm.

The unique CMT Dado Pro set of discs is the first dado set to comply with the UNI EN 847 standard. The dado discs rotate, but thanks to the unique design of the disc bodies and the special washers with locks, the individual elements never come into contact with each other.

When assembling grooved discs next to each other, always follow the instructions provided in the packaging.

Setting 1: If you want to cut a groove with a width of 6 mm, place the two edge discs towards each other so that the teeth of the second disc can engage exactly in the cutouts in the body of the second disc, which are located immediately behind the saw teeth.

Setting 2: If you want to cut a wider groove and if you need to use a shim with the locks according to the enclosed table, place the shim between two washers on the edge in such a way that the locks on the sides of the base should snap into the cutouts on the side of the edge washers.

Setting 3: If you're cutting wider grooves that require a center disk according to the table, place this center disk between two edge disks. The teeth of the center disk should engage precisely with the cutouts in the body of the edge disks, located directly behind the saw teeth (similar to setting 1). The teeth of the edge disks should then be in line when viewed from the side (straight and angled teeth always next to each other).

Setting 4: If you want to cut very wide grooves, where according to the tables you should use both shims and center shims, always put the assembly together in such a way that you always have a shim between two edge shims so that the teeth of the edge shims can engage in the cutouts in the edge shims in the same way as in the previous settings.

The exact width of the groove can be adjusted for all settings using spacer rings (0.1 – 0.5 mm), which you can place between the discs and the shim with the closures.
