Description

Construction Primer is an excellent, fast-drying, one-component rust protection primer with high adhesion, which can be overcoated with most common polyester sealants after just one hour. The product was specifically developed to provide long-lasting, professional protection for steel structures, metal components, and shelving from damage during assembly, welding, or grinding work in a straightforward manner.

APPLICATIONS CAR

For priming metal surfaces before and after welding during bodywork, such as roof skins, side panels, door sills, rear panels, fenders, etc.
Perfect as a primer for polyester putties in metalworking shops etc. - apply, cure for 1 hour, sand and fill if necessary
Ideal for spot welding work, such as inserting side panels, etc.
For priming and repairing frame and chassis parts of cars, trucks, buses, agricultural and construction machinery, etc.

APPLICATIONS INDUSTRY

For priming before and after welding work on metals, wrought iron, aluminum, such as grilles, scaffolding, fittings, steel structures, switch boxes, shelf parts, gutters, etc.
For coating plastics (pre-treat with Repaplast Primer), wood, windows and doors, furniture parts, picture frames, light switches, plastic pipes, cable ducts, etc.
For priming and repairing sanded old paint layers or for sanded areas for reworking
For spraying over dirt or scrapings on walls

PROCESSING

The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease (sand the surface if necessary)
Pre-cleaning with Innotec Multisol or Seal and Bond Remover
Clean plastic surfaces with Repaplast Cleaner Antistatic and pre-treat with Repaplast Primer
For optimal spray pattern, shake the can well for about 2 minutes before use
Spray in several thin layers crosswise at a spray distance of approx. 25 cm
When applying multiple layers, allow to dry for 5 minutes
Turn the can upside down after use and spray the valve empty
