The time has come: After months of preparation, countless cups of coffee, and seemingly endless hours of detailed work, we are finally pleased to introduce you to our new Mike's Toolshop online store! Honestly, we're thrilled to take you along on this journey.
Why a new shop at all? Many of you may have already noticed: Our previous online shop had reached the end of its technical life cycle. New security requirements and stricter legal regulations such as the Product Safety Regulation and the Accessibility Act (BFSG) forced us to create something fundamentally new. So, it wasn't a whim, but a necessity – because we want to continue to offer you a shop that simply works, is secure, and legally compliant.
Safety first
We know that some of our customers have fallen victim to data theft in the past—not with us, but we've taken their concerns seriously. That's why we're doing everything we can to protect you even better with our new shop. Unfortunately, security often only works when things get a little inconvenient: That's why we've deliberately decided against traditional passwords and instead rely on a 6-digit login code that's sent directly to your email.
We're especially proud that our new shop is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified —the highest security standard for payment systems in online retail. This means all payment and customer data is protected using state-of-the-art technologies, allowing you to focus on what matters most—your next project!

With the new system, we have created a foundation that is not only technically up to date, but also already brings you many advantages:

And that's just the beginning: We've already integrated many new features and will gradually add more over the coming weeks and months to make your shopping experience even easier and more secure. Don't worry: You don't have to change anything; everything happens automatically.
More payment methods, more flexibility
We know that everyone pays differently – and we want to keep it that way. That's why we've significantly upgraded our payment options: In addition to prepayment, credit card, and PayPal, you can now also pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Klarna (Sofort & Rechnung), or eps bank transfer . This way, you can get your favorite tools even faster, no matter how you prefer to pay.

Another highlight we'd like to share with you: We're celebrating our 10th anniversary! Ten years ago, we started with a dream, a few euros in our pockets, and a whole lot of naivety. Today, we look back with pride on an exciting journey – full of challenges, experiences, and wonderful encounters with you, our loyal customers.
