The great thing about Pica pencils is that you can adapt them to your specific work situation. So, if you need colored leads, they're available, and you can easily make your marks on dark surfaces. Plus, many of the pencils allow you to reach deep into holes, so if you have profile rails to install, you can usually insert the Pica pencil through the hole and use it to mark your markings, for example, for dowel holes.
