DOES THIS FIT? Makita guide rail and Festool angle stop (video)

shop-makitaschiene

Does that fit?

In the video about the Festool Angle stops , the question arose whether these could also be used on Makita Guide rails fit.
And since I could not answer the question sufficiently and this interested me, I have a Makita Rail purchased.
The new one fits easily Miter angle stop not on the rails.

Modifications to the accessory groove are necessary here, as there is a rib that protrudes here that prevents the plunge saw from tipping over during miter cuts.
The 90° angle stop, on the other hand, fits perfectly and without any changes to the profile.

In any case, the whole thing was done rather clumsily in 10 minutes, but it fits and I was able to test it.
You can of course I had it professionally removed at home in peace and quiet. I didn't have enough time.

What is important is that the result fits and can then be used.
