Every year around this time, the question arises as to whether we will also offer Black Friday, Black Week, or other discount periods or promotions. In our current blog post, we would like to inform you about how we handle this—as we do every year.
We don't want to get involved in these kind of discount wars, which, in our opinion, often involve inferior products or slow-moving items. Our range consists of carefully selected products designed to bring you long-term satisfaction and enjoyment.

Large companies are increasing their sales, while small retailers are trying to keep up despite zero margins or even losses.
In recent years there has been a real hype around this time in November and we also notice that orders start to pick up around this week.
The year 2024 was extremely challenging for many retailers. Global conflicts, rising costs, and inflation have largely negatively impacted customer purchasing behavior. Through discussions with suppliers and corporate customers, we are extremely aware of the current situation. We, too, have experienced significant increases in personnel, energy, packaging, and shipping costs.
We are very proud that we are developing positively against the trend.
Especially when it comes to customer satisfaction, which we measure through reviews, we were able to maintain our high level. This is not a given, as we see that many of our competitors have declined in this area.
That's why we continue to rely on values and practices that have existed for 100 years and will continue to be relevant in the future: honesty, a consultative approach based on the benefit for you as a customer, fairness and mindfulness - to name just a few.
