Build a small table router with your Festool router

This allows you to transform your OF 1010, OF 1400 or OF 2200 router into a table router.
The insert plate (milling plate) is pre-drilled and CNC machined from high-quality aluminum.

How-To?
The insert panel can be embedded into any multiplex, screen-printed, or glued wood panel. A minimum material thickness of 19 mm is recommended.
Using wooden strips, you make a frame that has exactly the outer dimensions of the board and mill it with a flush cutter (ball bearing on the shaft side) 9mm deep.
For exact height leveling, you can insert worm screws into the rebate or play around with screw-in nuts and threaded pins.
It's important that vibrations prevent the screws from becoming displaced (use threadlock, for example).
There are plenty of instructions for building router stops on the internet; just type “router stop” into YouTube and you’ll find what you’re looking for.
In general, there are a huge number of videos and content on this topic. Ready-made solutions ranging from low budget to several thousand euros are also available.
Security?
The whole thing is safe under normal use and it is great fun to build your own table router.
When milling, you should not use screw clamps, as they can loosen due to vibration. Lever clamps are recommended.
Professionals do this.
