Festool innovations from spring 2021
Due to Corona, unfortunately no field service is coming to us at the moment, so I visited the Festool training center in Glanegg to film the new products for you.
There are a few new products and updates in the range, which we think make sense.
First, there are now two energy sets, which contain two battery packs (either 5.2Ah with Bluetooth or 4.0Ah HighPower with Bluetooth) + one TCL 6 charger in the new Systainer. The TCL 6 charger is still the most common, and the reduction in charging time compared to the SCA 8 is rather manageable.
Since Festool ZOBO drill bits will no longer be available in the future, here's an update. The feature remains the same: you can swap the tip for a longer drill bit to continue creating perfect through holes or when you need to start at an angle.
The new bit sets look fun and are available in four different sets. The Systainer XXS are, of course, compatible and connectable with other XXS or Micro Systainers.
Finally, we present the new agitators, which have received an updated handle. The handle is interesting in that it doesn't pose any potential hazards on the construction site and, secondly, it can be hung anywhere, if necessary.
More interesting, however, is the extraction hood, which comes free with all new mixers. This effectively prevents the rising cloud of dust when filling or mixing various materials.
